8/15/2023- 9 days before departure

My friend just made it to Germany for her exchange! I'm still preparing and recently visited the Czech Consulate to start my residence permit (See image below). I'll finish it when I get to the country. There has been a TON of paperwork to do, and my mom has helped me so much as lots of it is hard to understand! She has helped me figure it all out and makes me feel more confident in what I have to do.

I leave in 9 days, and I'm getting ready to pack. I want to pack early so that I'll be less likely to forget something. I'm also preparing myself emotionally. I've been prayed over multiple times, and it has made me feel so much more secure and protected by God. It's helped me realize that I'm not just going to Czechia to have fun. I'm going to grow alongside God. I can't wait to see what opportunities He gives me! Thank you to everyone that is actively praying for me.

I have a bad case of swimmers ear right now, and prayers for that would be appreciated. I know that if it doesn't get better in the next 9 days that I'll have to move my flight. I have medicine, so hop[efully it works quickly!

There isn't too much to write about right now, but I'll be sure to keep everyone updated once I arrive!
